The role focuses on twin-screw extrusion, process optimization, and transfer of knowledge to manufacturing, with responsibilities spanning lab through commercial operations and ensuring GMP-compliant, safe, and efficient processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum seven years in process engineering, process development, or extrusion technology.
• Experience scaling and transferring products from lab/pilot to commercial manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead scale-up and manufacturability activities aligned with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Sponsor technology transfer and qualifications for new products and process changes.
• Develop and optimize extrusion processes, including twin-screw extrusion, and set operating windows.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and R&D to ensure successful commercialization and process implementation.
• Analyze process data to identify improvements and drive cost optimization.
