Job summary

Bunge Iberica SA in Chesterfield, MO is seeking a Sr. Analyst, External Reporting to act as a global SME for BG’s consolidated financial statements, support SEC forms 10-Q/10-K, and serve as a system administrator for Workiva.

You will coordinate quarter-end close components, prepare disclosures, draft MD&A, collaborate with Legal/IR/Treasury, and help design internal controls, with SOX documentation and interaction with auditors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance required; CPA or equivalent is a plus.
• Minimum five years’ experience in a Big 4 or similar function in an international environment.
• External reporting experience including US GAAP and SEC filing requirements.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, and SEC requirements.
• Willingness to learn and exposure to trading/industrial businesses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate components of quarter-end and monthly close with regional financial statements and disclosures.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and footnote disclosures for SEC forms 10-Q/10-K and other filings.
• Draft MD&A commentary using inputs from operating businesses and FP&A.
• Collaborate with Legal, Investor Relations, Treasury and other functions for periodic SEC filings.
• Improve and standardize close processes and develop formal close tasks.
• Present monthly variance analyses to Controlling management.
• Tag externally reported information per iXBRL requirements.
• Serve as a super user/admin for Workiva and manage system access.
• Assist with OneStream enhancements for US GAAP and SEC disclosures; train new users.
• Collaborate with Regional Controllers on drill-down analyses and corrections.
• Support adoption of new accounting standards; contribute to training programs.
• Liaise with external auditors to address audit issues timely.
