Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced engineering leader to oversee a team of Underbody Structure Architecture Product Development Engineers. You will drive KPI alignment for quality, cost, weight, and performance across major programs, from concept through launch, ensuring architecture feasibility and program success.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Engineering with 7+ years in Structures Product Development and a Master's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering and 7+ years in Structures Product Development.
• Experience from concept generation through launch in GPDS.
• Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Master's degree in engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 4+ Underbody Structure Architecture Product Development Engineers.
• Lead KPI alignment for Quality, Cost, Weight, and Functional Performance on major programs.
• Drive design solutions aligned to program scope, readiness, and affordability targets.
• Mentor teams to deliver robust architecture with defined parameters and on-time milestones.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers, and other engineering domains to ensure feasible architectures.
