Job summary

Urenco USA is seeking an experienced export control professional to support the Technology and Development and Major Projects teams in the US, primarily on-site in Eunice, NM with hybrid work options. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with export control regulations, coordinating licensing activities, and delivering targeted training.

Responsibilities include advising on 810/110/EAR, preparing documentation, and collaborating across Urenco’s US, Netherlands, Germany, and UK teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, regulatory affairs, or engineering; degree may be substituted with experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in export control or trade compliance
• Knowledge of US export control regimes; Part 810, Part 110, ITAR, EAR desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead export control compliance projects for major US projects
• Serve as export control SME ensuring timely and compliant project delivery
• Advise teams on Part 810, Part 110 and EAR export controls; map suppliers and systems
• Assist in applying for export licenses and manage license processes
• Coordinate documentation and responses for export license applications with Urenco USA licensing team
• Deliver export control training to Urenco project personnel and broader training initiatives
• Draft and review governance documents and standard procedures
• Collaborate with global export control professionals and build inter-country links
