Job summary

EnDyna Inc. seeks an Explosives Safety Subject Matter Expert to support a government safety assessment program based at Ft. Rucker, Alabama.

You will lead explosives and range safety assessment support, evaluate A&E operations, and provide technical recommendations to reduce risk and improve compliance. You will collaborate with the Program Manager and safety specialists on assessments and corrective-action analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health, engineering, explosives safety, or a related technical discipline.
At least 10 years of progressively responsible A&E and explosives safety experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of Army and DoD explosives safety requirements and A&E mishap prevention.
Ability to meet installation, CAC, and government-system access requirements, including background investigations and security training.
Expertise in explosives safety program management; storage, handling, transportation, and disposition; hazard classification; PES/ES analysis; investigations and waivers.

Responsibilities

Lead the explosives and range safety portions of remote and on-site assessments.
Evaluate Explosives Safety Management Programs and A&E operations for compliance with DoD requirements.
Review hazard classification, quantity-distance relationships, site plans, PES/ES analyses; identify risks and corrective actions.
Provide risk assessment, inspections, mishap investigations, and waivers/deviations guidance.
Document findings, best practices, and provide corrective-action support and trend reporting.
Utilize ASMIS 2.0 assessment tools, offering ongoing reach-back and technical assistance.
