Job summary

EnDyna, Inc. seeks an Explosives Safety Subject Matter Expert based at Ft. Rucker, Alabama to lead safety assessments and provide technical recommendations to reduce risk and improve compliance.

You will collaborate with the Program Manager and safety specialists on evaluation preparation, corrective-action analysis, and ongoing technical assistance. The role requires extensive experience in DoD explosives safety, hazard analysis, and risk assessment, with the ability to access required security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent DoD explosives safety education/experience.
• 10+ years of A&E and explosives safety experience.
• Knowledge of Army/DoD explosives safety requirements and mishap prevention.
• CAC/background check and security training compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead explosives and range safety portions of assessments and document findings.
• Evaluate A&E operations for compliance with Army and DoD requirements.
• Review hazard classifications, quantity-distance, PES/ES analyses and risk.
• Provide risk assessment, inspections, mishap investigations, waivers/deviations.
• Document recommendations and support corrective-action reviews.
• Utilize ASMIS 2.0 assessment tools and provide ongoing reach-back support.
