Repsol seeks a Sr. Exploration Geoscientist to join the Exploration Americas HUB, based onsite at the office in The Woodlands, TX.

You will identify, evaluate, and mature hydrocarbon exploration opportunities by integrating seismic and well data, delivering drillable prospects with technical confidence. The role requires a hands-on explorationist with 15+ years of experience, strong capabilities in seismic interpretation, rock physics, AVA/AVO, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to support

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Geology; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years in hydrocarbon exploration across onshore/offshore.
• Proven lead generation, prospect maturation, and risk assessment.
• Strong structural/stratigraphic seismic interpretation skills.

Mansioni

• Identify exploration opportunities and mature drillable prospects using seismic and well data.
• Characterize and mature prospects with SAAM methodology and rock physics.
• Provide G&G input to well design, planning, and post-drill evaluations.
• Oversee seismic acquisition, processing, and QC; ensure data quality to meet objectives.
• Prepare and defend technical reports and present opportunities to stakeholders.
