UNICEF in New York is seeking a Senior Expert in Organizational Decision-making to lead a global evaluation of risk governance in humanitarian action. You will design the methodology, coordinate data collection, and translate findings into actionable policy recommendations to strengthen staff decision-making.

Formación

• PhD in Behavioural science, decision science, organizational psychology, social sciences, or a related field.
• At least 12 years of applied experience studying organizational decision‑making under uncertainty.
• Experience designing and analyzing survey experiments or vignette studies in humanitarian, security, or public‑sector settings.
• Proven ability to translate behavioural findings into organizational design recommendations.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement a comprehensive global evaluation of UNICEF’s risk governance frameworks and practices in humanitarian action.
• Develop the evaluation methodology, oversee the collection and analysis of data from various case studies across different emergency contexts.
• Trace decision‑making processes related to risk‑taking, risk‑sharing, and risk‑management and assess their impact on the delivery of services and goods to children.
• Translate behavioural findings and evaluation insights into practical, evidence‑based recommendations for organizational design and policy adjustments; present final report to UNICEF stakeholders.
