Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Experiential / Environmental Graphic Designer based in the United States to work with the Director of Experiential Design on high-visibility projects. You will translate client objectives, brand standards, architectural environments, and user requirements into compelling physical design solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in relevant design fields.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional design experience including environmental graphic design, experiential design, signage, wayfinding, branded environments, exhibits, or related disciplines.
• Experience taking projects from concept through documentation and implementation.
• Experience with SketchUp or comparable 3D modeling software.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or comparable architectural documentation software.
• Understanding of fabrication processes, materials, finishes, and installation methods.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Translate client objectives, brand standards, architectural environments, and user requirements into design solutions.
• Develop concepts, design studies, presentations, material palettes, color strategies, typography systems, and environmental applications.
• Create 2D and 3D design solutions for clients, teams, and fabricators.
• Balance aesthetics with constructability, budget, codes, and long-term durability.
• Participate in programming, location planning, messaging, typography, and standards.
• Analyze circulation, sightlines, and user experience.
• Ensure accessibility and code compliance in designs.
• Develop signage standards and guidelines for complex facilities.
