Job summary

Forty Nine Degrees is seeking a Senior Designer to lead experiential and graphic design concepts from ideation through production and fabrication. You’ll guide projects with a strong design aesthetic and collaborate closely with clients, designers, and the project team in a fast-paced studio.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in graphic/environmental/spatial design, excellent communication, and the ability to translate concepts into production-ready artwork.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of professional experience in graphic, environmental, spatial, or a related design field.
• Proficiency with macOS and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to lead creative initiatives and communicate ideas effectively.
• Experience in architecture, industrial design, or exhibit design is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with clients, designers, and project team members.
• Establish and manage the creative direction for assigned projects.
• Develop high-impact design concepts and client presentations.
• Present ideas, recommendations, and design solutions clearly and confidently.
• Guide projects from initial concept through production and fabrication.
• Independently manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.

The Senior Designer brings a strong design aesthetic, broad creative capabilities, and the experience to guide the development of production-ready artwork. The ideal candidate is an innovative, well-rounded creative professional with excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for designing immersive, memorable physical spaces. The primary goal of the Senior Designer is to help our clients create exceptional environments that leave a lasting impression on their guests.
