Job summary

LV8D Solutions is seeking an Exercise Execution Systems Engineer to lead the development of exercise concepts, objectives, execution plans, and performance assessments. This role requires collaboration with the DoD, Intelligence Community, and international partners, applying strong systems engineering and operational planning to validate on-orbit capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, OR related field.
• Experience in planning/executing operational tests, exercises, or capability assessments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute operational test campaigns and exercises to evaluate on-orbit capabilities and system performance.
• Lead exercise planning, including objectives, scenarios, success criteria, timelines, risk assessments, and post-exercise evaluations.
• Coordinate with DoD DoW/IC agencies, international partners, and mission partners to identify exercise opportunities.
• Integrate requirements into comprehensive exercise and test plans across organizations.
• Develop methods to assess system performance, operational utility, and resilience in realistic environments.
• Identify innovative testing methodologies and modeling/simulation approaches to reduce cost/time while maintaining quality.
• Coordinate logistics, resources, and personnel across locations.
• Analyze exercise results to identify strengths, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare technical reports, after-action assessments, and executive briefings.
