Job summary

Ally Financial is seeking an Executive Protection Specialist based in Charlotte to safeguard executives, employees, and guests. You will deliver protective services during daily activities, travel, and events with discretion and strong judgment.

You will coordinate with security partners and assistants, conduct route planning and site assessments, and respond to emergencies while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in executive protection or related security fields.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record preferred.
• Ability to perform essential functions of the role with or without accommodation.
• Ability to respond to security incidents and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive protection during routine movements, travel, and events.
• Conduct route planning, site assessments, and advance work to mitigate risks.
• Maintain situational awareness and respond to emergencies or threats.
• Coordinate with assistants, facilities, security partners, and law enforcement.
• Provide secure transportation for executives as needed.
• Support residential and workplace security programs and event security planning.
• Develop and execute security plans, threat assessments, and travel briefings.
• Process visitors at executive floor security checkpoints with professionalism.
• Operate and maintain security resources and company vehicles per standards.
• Respond to incidents on the executive floor and assist executives as required.
• Participate in ongoing executive protection training and defensive tactics.
