Job summary

S&P Global seeks an experienced executive protection professional for its Global Security & Crisis Management team in New York City. The role focuses on protecting company leadership during domestic and international travel and providing security coverage for leadership meetings, conferences, and incidents.

The candidate will lead security planning, maintain documentation, and coordinate with staff and stakeholders, with a required 5-day on-site presence at the 55 Water Street office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in law enforcement, military, or government sectors
• Proven executive protection experience across diverse settings including domestic and international travel
• Strong understanding of security and risk landscapes with ability to assess threats and implement protective measures
• Comfortable engaging with senior executives and leadership teams
• Travel domestically and internationally, overnight to multi-day trips
• Sound operational judgment, discretion, reliability, and adaptability in dynamic security environments
• Physical presence required at 55 Water Street office, 5 days a week
• Valid driver’s license and passport

Responsibilities

• Provide executive protection services to company leadership during travel and at events
• Support GS&C M operations by providing security coverage at leadership meetings and incidents
• Conduct daily executive calendar reviews and coordinate with staff for security integration
• Lead comprehensive trip planning including security plans, risk assessments, and stakeholder coordination
• Maintain security documentation and protocols (Risk Registers, Threat Databases, SOPs)
• Assist Building Operations and Investigation functions to support broader security objectives
