- Experience supervising attorneys and legal projects.

- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary partners.
- Strong communication and professional judgment.
Responsibilities
- Provide organizational leadership and strategic direction.
- Oversee civil legal services and supervise a small team.
- Lead development of systemic advocacy and policy initiatives.
- Mentor staff and support professional development.
- Maintain a reduced caseload while guiding organizational growth.
- Cultivate collaborations with community organizations and funders.
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities and grant proposals.
- Represent VAP in partnerships, coalitions, and meetings with policymakers.
