Job summary

AIS Infrastructure Group is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to operate and maintain heavy construction equipment on civil projects. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to plans, and effective coordination with the team to meet deadlines.

Candidates should have extensive experience with excavators and bulldozers, along with a solid understanding of construction processes and GPS-based technology.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience operating construction equipment with a minimum of 3 years on large excavators and/or bulldozers.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance to access secured facilities, including military bases.
• Proficient in operating a variety of construction equipment.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain heavy construction equipment, specifically excavators and bulldozers, for earthmoving and other purposes on heavy civil construction projects.
• Follow project plans, blueprints, and instructions to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Safely load, transport, and unload materials using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Collaborate with project teams to coordinate equipment operations and ensure project deadlines are met.
