Job summary

Oracle's Exadata team is seeking engineers to develop core software for the Oracle Database and Exadata, focusing on scalability, performance, and reliability across on-prem and cloud environments.

The role requires strong C/C++ skills, Linux experience, and a solid understanding of systems architecture. You will work with cloud teams to deliver high-performance systems in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• BS / MS / PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong background in distributed systems, operating systems, networking, and storage systems.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills.
• Experience developing on Linux platform.
• 1-7 years of software development experience.
• Solid understanding of computer architecture, memory hierarchy, I/O, concurrency, etc.
• Experience in databases is a plus
• Experience in Rust programming language is a plus
