Job summary

Signature Science, LLC in Arlington, VA is seeking a Project Controls specialist to support multiple projects through budgeting, forecasting, EVMS, and reporting. You will work with project managers to keep work on budget and on schedule.

Responsibilities include developing WBS, IMS, baselines, performance metrics, and dashboards; interfacing with finance, contracts, and leadership; and ensuring compliance with government contracting structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; EVMS/Project Controls related coursework or certification preferred.
• Five+ years of relevant work experience in government contracting environments and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project budgets, EACs, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Monitor cost, schedule, and technical performance using EVMS methodologies.
• Analyze performance, identify trends, assess risks, and recommend actions.
• Support EVMS processes, reporting, and compliance.
• Establish and maintain WBS, control accounts, baselines, and metrics.
• Support IMS development and alignment with scope and budgets.
• Prepare status reports, variance analyses, and dashboards for leadership.
• Collaborate with PMs on corrective actions for variances.
• Support proposal pricing, staffing forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Review financials, funding, subcontract costs, and contractual requirements for compliance.
• Identify reporting and automation improvements for efficiency.
• Develop automated tools and dashboards to improve visibility.
• Coordinate with Contracts, Finance, and Program Management to ensure compliance.
