Hospice Buffalo is seeking a Senior Event & Volunteer Coordinator to implement a comprehensive special events program and lead a volunteer team for major fundraising events.

The role collaborates with the Foundation leadership and the Special Events Manager to strengthen donor relationships, recruit volunteers, and manage communications across multiple platforms. Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in volunteer events are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum of two years volunteer engagement and event experience.
• Experience with fundraising database software, preferably Blackbaud NXT.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary contact for event volunteers with clear communication and role assignments.
• Recruit, engage, and steward the volunteer team for four major events.
• Develop volunteer communications and materials (email updates, signup tools, instructions).
• Collaborate with the Director of Development and Volunteer Services Manager to deepen engagement and donor stewardship.
• Plan and support four major events: Bouquet Sale, Memorial Walk, Harvest Fest, Light-A-Life.
• Oversee on-site production, logistics, and event software/tools as needed.
• Maintain accurate donor and volunteer records in Raiser's Edge.
