Job summary

Hyatt Regency Columbus is seeking a Senior Event Planning Manager to lead planning and execution of group events and conventions, acting as the on-site liaison between meeting planners and hotel staff. • Four years of hotel event planning experience in a management role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong financial acumen and billing responsibilities.
• Proficient in general computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute all aspects of group sales bookings and events.
• Serve as on-site liaison between Meeting Planners and hotel staff.
• Prepare rooms, documentation, room blocks, and billing details for events.
• Mentor and guide Events Managers and Administrative Assistants.
