Job summary

Archipelago Companies is seeking an Events Manager to own melin’s event ecosystem end-to-end. You will lead strategic planning, budgets, on-site execution, and post-event analysis across wholesale, retail, community, and mCEL activations.

You will build cross-functional relationships, manage staffing fleets, coordinate licensing and COIs, and work with marketing to align with brand goals. Travel and weekend scheduling are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience planning and executing events for a consumer brand, retailer, or experiential agency.
• Minimum 30% travel required.
• Strong negotiation and contract management experience.
• Experience obtaining event permits and COIs.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end event logistics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the annual events calendar across wholesale, retail, community, and mCEL activations.
• Own event briefs, budgets, pitches and post-event recap decks with outcomes and learnings.
• Define event objectives and KPIs aligned to brand and commercial goals.
• Lead mCEL program logistics, inventory, briefs and recaps; operate mCEL trailers as needed.
• Staff, hire, train, and manage melin street team and event drivers.
• Support wholesale trunk shows, in-store activations and product launches.
• Collaborate with Community Manager on event-based programming and partnerships.
• Negotiate footprints, contracts and vendor invoicing; manage budgets and ROI.
