Job summary

Morgan Stanley's Event Planning team seeks a Senior Event Planner to lead end-to-end strategy and execution for client-facing and employee recognition events, primarily in person with limited virtual components. You will partner with BU leadership, marketing stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align events with marketing priorities.

You will manage budgets, vendor contracts, registration, AV, speaker management, and post-event analysis, with travel ~30% annually.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in conference and event planning within financial services.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Deep expertise with Cvent and event technology platforms.
• Experience with employee incentive and recognition programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of a portfolio of client-facing and employee recognition events, primarily in person with limited virtual components.
• Own the full event lifecycle: venue sourcing, contracting, budgeting, registration, collateral, transportation, catering, AV, speaker management and post-event reconciliation.
• Translate marketing and business objectives into compelling event concepts and attendee experiences.
• Serve as the liaison for assigned BUs, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Source, negotiate and manage contracts with venues, speakers, and production partners.
• Develop detailed event budgets and provide post-event cost analysis and ROI insights.
• Oversee invitation and registration strategies and manage event technology and reporting.
