Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. seeks a Senior Event Operations Lead to own the operational strategy and end-to-end delivery of AMD’s most complex flagship events, including Advancing AI.

You will partner with program owners and cross-functional teams to develop delivery models, manage large budgets, and lead multi-disciplinary teams across venues, production, staffing, and logistics. This senior individual contributor role requires autonomy, executive-level influence, and the ability to navigate

• Own the operational strategy and end-to-end delivery of flagship and complex events.
• Lead Advancing AI operational leadership for AMD’s global flagship.
• Assess feasibility, trade-offs, and balance experience, budget, and timeline.
• Oversee venue, production integration, registration, attendee flow, staffing, F&B, security, logistics.
• Lead large, multi-disciplinary delivery teams across agencies, venues, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide senior leadership across agencies, venues, and production partners, ensuring timely delivery.
• Develop and manage significant operational budgets and financial trade-offs.
• Establish readiness processes and escalation paths ahead of live delivery.
• Lead onsite command and executive communication during live events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support an integrated event experience.
• Mentor Event Operations Leads, Managers, and Coordinators.
