Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Senior ETL Migration Engineer to support federal modernization by migrating large-scale legacy data into secure cloud platforms. This on-site role in Huntsville, AL leads design, execution, and validation of enterprise ETL pipelines for mission-critical data migrations.

The role requires 8+ years in ETL/data engineering, Top Secret clearance, and a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Compensation targets $160,000–$175,000 with full benefits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in ETL development, data engineering, or enterprise-scale data migration.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools, automation frameworks, scripting languages, and high-volume pipelines.
• Hands-on with legacy extraction and cloud-based data ingestion.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, or Data Engineering.
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, optimization, and maintenance of large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Develop extraction, transformation, and ingestion from legacy systems into cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures, resolve data anomalies, and improve migration performance.
• Perform data quality assessments, governance reviews, and validation checks.
• Collaborate with Cloud Engineers, Data Engineers, DevSecOps, DBAs, QA, and Product Owners.
