Job summary

Leidos is seeking an ETL Java Developer (SME) in the Intelligence Sector to design and implement large-scale ELT data pipelines for a data lake environment. You will work in a DevOps framework, integrating SpringBoot, NiFi, Kafka, and Elasticsearch to enable data processing, validation, and deployment across multiple cloud platforms.

The role requires active TS/SCI with polygraph, a strong background in data modeling, SQL/NoSQL, and leadership of scrum teams within a SAFe environment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI w/polygraph
• Master's degree with 15+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with ETL and data ingestion
• Experience with data modeling and SQL/NoSQL databases
• Experience with Spring, NiFi, Kafka, Elasticsearch
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
• Strong communication and leadership in Scrum teams

Responsibilities

• Design and implement large scale ELT ingest systems in big data environments
• Optimize data storage, organization, and availability for enterprise requirements
• Develop software for data tools using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, Python, SpringBoot, Hibernate
• Develop and execute software validation and testing with JUnit/Katalon
• Prototype and deploy solutions on Commercial Cloud Platforms
• Coordinate infrastructure needs with software development to meet mission goals
• Support SAFe Agile processes and cross-team collaboration
• Use DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and scripting for automation
• Track progress with JIRA/Confluence and communicate with stakeholders
