Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Senior ETL Developer for Columbus, Ohio, with three days in the office. This W2 role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining ETL processes for an enterprise data warehouse and coordinating with multiple teams across the business.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in ETL/DW, hands-on experience with Python/PySpark, DataStage ETL, and SQL, plus cloud migration experience on AWS and Azure. Strong communication and SDLC adherence are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience in a related field.
• 3+ years of ETL development in a Data Warehouse environment.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure projects and hands-on migration on AWS and Azure.
• Solid experience with Python/PySpark, DataStage ETL, and SQL development.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements and data mapping into technical design.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain ETL code following standards.
• Create and execute unit tests and support regression tests.
• Debug and resolve issues in testing or production.
• Communicate status, issues, and blockers with the project team.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities.
