Job summary

Techwaukee seeks an experienced ETL Developer specializing in OpenText InfoArchive and Platform 3 Services (Archon) to lead design, implementation, and modernization of enterprise information archiving and data retirement solutions.

The ideal candidate combines archiving platform expertise with strong database/ETL engineering, robust Java development skills, and leadership to guide a technical team toward successful delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years with OpenText InfoArchive (21.x/22.x) and Archon Platform 3.
• Strong experience designing database ETL pipelines with tools like Informatica, Talend, Pentaho, SSIS.
• Advanced SQL and relational DB skills (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Solid Java development, REST APIs, Spring/Spring Boot, and integration components.
• Proven experience leading data retirement or decommissioning programs.
• Ability to mentor a technical team and drive delivery outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement end-to-end OpenText InfoArchive solutions and data ingestion pipelines.
• Lead Archon configuration, integration, and administration across archiving initiatives.
• Define Enterprise Data Retirement strategies and roadmaps.
• Design and optimize ETL workflows to move data from legacy sources into the archive.
• Develop and review Java components, transformations, and API integrations.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate retention requirements into solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues spanning authentication, storage, schemas, and apps.
• Create architecture docs, runbooks, and status updates for tech and execs.
