OhioHealth seeks a seasoned compliance professional to support the Ethics and Compliance Program. You will help draft, review, and revise policies, educate staff, and monitor adherence to regulatory requirements across the organization.
Key responsibilities include preparing reports for senior leadership, maintaining communications, and supporting the compliance hotline and training programs. A bachelor’s degree and health information certifications are required.

Bachelor's Degree (Required)
degree Certification in one of the following is required or must be obtained within one year of hire: Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC), Certified in Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC), or Certified in Healthcare Compliance-Fellow (CHC-F) by the Health Care Compliance Association.
Years of experience: 7 to 10 years
Degree with five years of direct and/or related experience. Business writing, editing, publishing, and drafting reports, policies and procedures, articles, and/or white papers. Supports implementation, tracking, and ongoing compliance with regulatory agreement requirements, including reportable events, training obligations, disclosure requirements, certification processes, and annual reporting activities. Partners with Legal, Internal Audit, Privacy, Revenue Cycle, Human Resources, Clinical Operations, Finance, and operational leaders to support compliance risk mitigation and ethical decision-making. Monitors changes in health care laws, regulations, enforcement guidance, and industry standards, including requirements related to Medicare, Medicaid, billing, coding, referral relationships, conflicts of interest, HIPAA, Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and OIG guidance.
Bachelor’s degree. Experience developing and revising compliance-related policies. Experience with sanction exclusion screening, conflicts of interest, and compliance requirements in a research institute. Experience conducting investigations related to allegations of noncompliance. Experience developing compliance education materials and providing training to the workforce.
