Apogee Architectural Metals is seeking an experienced Estimator to bid complex window and curtainwall systems, perform architectural takeoffs, and prepare accurate cost estimates for distributors and customers.

You will coordinate with estimating, purchasing, engineering, and sales to ensure timely, accurate quotations and successful orders. Strong leadership and CAD/ERP skills are essential in a fast-paced office environment.

Qualifikationen

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum five years estimating experience with complex bids.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coordinate work of others.

Aufgaben

• Bid complex window and curtainwall systems based on specs and drawings.
• Coordinate and schedule quote requests across the estimating team.
• Interpret specifications and takeoff information; contact reps on questions.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Structural Engineering, Sales and Pre-bid Engineering.
• Prepare complete, accurate takeoffs showing scope of work and pricing.
• Communicate with customers and sales to ensure thorough quotations.
• Follow up to secure orders and negotiate terms as needed.
