Job summary

W3Global in Souderton, PA is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our welding and metal fabrication team. You will estimate welding and sheet metal projects, review CAD/SolidWorks drawings, and work with engineering and production to ensure bids are accurate and cost-effective.

The role requires at least 5 years in estimating or project management in welding or manufacturing, strong shop math and drawing interpretation, and JobBOSS ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of estimating and/or project management in welding or metal fabrication.
• Strong shop math, measurement systems, and layout techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD/SolidWorks drawings; manipulating drawings preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems, especially JobBOSS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Analyze CAD/SolidWorks files, drawings, and specs to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Review project scope, materials, labor, production processes, and lead times.
• Prepare detailed proposals and client quotes including labor, materials, overhead, and lead times.
• Collaborate with engineering, project managers, and lead welders to reflect scope in estimates.
• Refine estimates within the JobBOSS ERP system with project managers and leads.
• Support project planning and scheduling to promote timely execution.
• Manage multiple estimating projects while maintaining accuracy and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate project and estimating documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment.
