Qualifications

• 10+ years of heavy civil estimating experience.
• 5+ years in underground utility estimating (water, sewer, storm)
• Experience bidding major heavy civil infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong ability to read plans, specs, geotechnical reports.
• Knowledge of labor productivity, crew costs, and unit costs.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for underground utility and heavy civil projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for water, sewer, storm drain.
• Develop labor, equipment, material, and subcontractor costs.
• Review plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports.
• Lead estimate reviews with senior management.
• Mentor and coordinate estimating/takeoff engineers.
• Organize bid packages and manage bid deadlines.
