Intermountain Electric Inc. (IME) is seeking a Senior Estimator to join a growing team.
The Senior Estimator will play a critical leadership role in our pre‑construction process, responsible for developing, reviewing, and validating highly accurate and competitive cost estimates for complex electrical projects. The role involves advanced analysis of project blueprints, specifications, and contractual documents to produce comprehensive, strategic estimates that drive profitable project outcomes. The Senior Estimator will oversee estimating methodology, risk evaluation, and bid strategy while managing and mentoring a team of estimators. They will collaborate closely with executive leadership, operations, and cross‑functional teams to align estimates with organizational goals, historical data, and market conditions.
The majority of the time you will work in a typical office environment. Occasionally, you may travel to a construction job site. When on construction sites you will encounter typical construction conditions including extreme temperatures, noise, dust, mud debris, welding, leading edge, trenching, and shoring, sometimes in a confined space. You may be required to visit multiple locations during any one day.
