Job summary

Florida Palm Construction is seeking a Senior Estimator / Preconstruction Manager to lead our Preconstruction and Estimating Department. This role owns the preconstruction process from opportunity entry through estimating, proposal, award, and handoff to Operations.

You will manage 8–10 active estimates, build accurate budgets, develop bid packages, run subcontractor solicitations, and coordinate with Sales, Architecture, and Field teams.

Qualifications

• Significant estimating and preconstruction experience with a General Contractor.
• Ability to lead the preconstruction process from pipeline to handoff.
• Strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
• Excellent project risk identification and value engineering.
• Comfortable collaborating with architects, engineers, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimating pipeline across 8–10 active estimates.
• Own opportunities from review to award and handoff.
• Develop conceptual and detailed estimates and bid packages.
• Manage subcontractor solicitation, coverage, and pricing.
• Collaborate with Sales, Preconstruction and Operations.
• Improve procedures, templates, data, and KPIs; oversee AI integration.
