Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Estimator with multi-trade experience to join our established Florida-based GC team. The role focuses on preparing detailed cost estimates for a range of projects, managing complex scopes, and supporting project teams through close collaboration with PMs, architects, and engineers.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction estimating, a degree in CM/Engineering (preferred), and proficiency with estimating software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in construction estimating with a multi-trade focus.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for diverse construction projects (labor, materials, equipment, etc).
• Review plans, specs, and contracts to create accurate estimates.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes for budget alignment.
• Collaborate with PMs, architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve estimate issues.
• Conduct risk analyses to identify potential cost overruns and mitigation strategies.
• Present and explain estimates to clients and stakeholders clearly.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and estimating software advances.
• Participate in project meetings to provide cost updates and budget status.
