Job summary

Bollinger Shipyards, Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator to analyze blueprints, specifications, and proposals to prepare labor, material, and cost estimates for large complex projects. You will work under the Estimating Manager, developing BOE, CBOM, CERs, and other cost components.

You will gather data from vendors, coordinate with supply chain, and lead bid efforts while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with DFARS and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of directly applicable estimating experience in marine or offshore environments.
• BS degree preferred, but not required if experience is clearly demonstrated.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of shipyard manufacturing principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Change Order and New Business Estimates.
• Assign man-hours and material costs to each work item.
• Create BOE, CBOM, CERs, and estimate models for proposals.
• Coordinate with suppliers and customers to resolve estimates.
• Lead bids on large or complex projects and present final costs to management.
• Ensure estimating compliance with internal procedures and audits.
