Qualifications
- 10+ years in the construction industry with substantial estimating experience.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specs, and contracts for complex projects.
- Experience evaluating subcontractor bids and developing pricing.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with major estimating tools and takeoff software.
Responsibilities
- Own estimating assignments for major, highly complex projects.
- Develop conceptual budgets, detailed estimates, and cost models.
- Set estimating strategies, timelines, and bid requirements.
- Identify qualified subs and coordinate competitive bids.
- Review drawings, specs, quantities, and proposals for accuracy.
- Lead and mentor estimating personnel to maintain high standards.
