Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road is seeking a Senior Estimator for Heavy Civil/Heavy Highway construction located in Coppell, Texas. The ideal candidate will use strong estimating skills to create detailed cost estimates for major transportation projects, oversee estimating processes, and manage a small team. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and over 8 years of experience in heavy civil projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in the construction industry, primarily heavy civil projects.
• 5 years focused on estimating, particularly TxDOT or similar state projects.
• Strong background in managing estimating teams and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying estimating pursuits and managing resources.
• Lead preparation of cost estimates for heavy civil construction.
• Supervise a small team of estimators as needed for specific projects.
