MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions seeks an experienced Senior Estimator to lead the development of accurate, competitive estimates for complex projects in the Northwest. You will articulate strategy and pricing, mentor junior staff, and partner with operations, engineering, and leadership to drive profitable work.

You will contribute to bid strategy, perform site visits, and ensure estimates reflect real-world execution across mechanical, electrical, plumbing trades.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in construction estimating (senior-level experience preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of trade means and methods and ability to read drawings and specs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead preparation of comprehensive, accurate estimates capturing scope, risk, and opportunity.
• Review drawings, specs, schedules and contracts to identify scope gaps and risks.
• Conduct site visits and constructability reviews to validate assumptions and pricing.
• Develop detailed takeoffs, pricing models, and cost summaries per standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, operations, and trade partners to align estimates with execution strategies.
• Mentor junior estimators to raise team capability and consistency.
• Present estimates and bid strategies to leadership and clients as needed.
• Support bid/no-bid decisions and long-term estimating strategy.
