Job summary

Forza Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead the estimating process for large-scale general construction projects, spanning commercial and industrial sectors.

You will develop accurate, competitive cost proposals and coordinate with preconstruction teams from early concepts through award. Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of progressive estimating experience, deep knowledge of major trades, and proficiency with ProEst and Primavera.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive estimating experience in large-scale commercial/industrial general construction.
• Strong knowledge of means/methods across major trades.
• Experience with design-build, design-assist, and conceptual estimating.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of detailed cost estimates for large-scale ground-up and complex renovation projects.
• Analyze drawings/specifications to identify risks, opportunities, and VE solutions.
• Define divisions of responsibility within the estimating team.
• Manage subcontractor outreach, bids, and scope reviews across trades.
• Develop conceptual budgets, schematic estimates, and final proposals.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure scope-cost alignment.
• Use internal data to validate market pricing and improve estimate accuracy.
• Mentor junior estimators and support staff.
• Present estimates and recommendations to clients and leadership.
• Lead turnover to project operations with clear scope, coverage, and risks.
