Ram Mechanical Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator to drive growth in national industrial contracting projects. You will assemble precise bids across piping, millwright, fabrication, sheetmetal, and robotic integration, shaping win strategies and managing cost risk.

You will lead detailed takeoffs, present proposals to management and clients, and collaborate with PMs and purchasing teams to uncover savings while expanding maintenance contracts nationwide.

Qualifications

• Proven experience accurately estimating industrial contracting projects (piping, millwright, fabrication, or sheetmetal).
• Strong ability reading blueprints, schematics, and client project specs.
• Deep understanding of commercial terms, bid schedules, subcontract negotiation, and cost risk analysis.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills for presenting proposals to management and clients.

Responsibilities

How You Will Make An Impact

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience accurately estimating industrial contracting projects (piping, millwright, fabrication, or sheetmetal).
• Strong technical background reading blueprints, schematics, and client project specifications.
• Deep understanding of commercial terms, bid schedules, subcontract negotiation, and cost risk analysis.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills required for presenting proposals directly to management and clients.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 or more years of hands-on estimating experience within the industrial sector.
• Proficiency with industry software including HeavyBid, Sage Estimating, Bluebeam, Pro Core, Fast Pipe, Fast Duct, or PlanSwift.
• Desire to step into leadership roles
