Job summary

DCS Asset Maintenance, LLC is seeking an experienced Estimator to support growth in performance-based maintenance contracting for roadways and bridges. You will prepare detailed estimates for bids by gathering data, analyzing costs, and presenting options to leadership for informed decisions.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years’ experience in estimation, strong numerical and analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel and Power BI.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of proven experience as estimator or similar position – highway or structures asset maintenance is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of financial and project management principles.
• Experience with research and data analysis methods and estimation formulas.
• Advanced math and IT ability with an analytical mindset.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI.
• Understanding of AI applications in estimation.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• High integrity with the ability to handle sensitive information.
• Ability to deliver thorough, reliable, executable work products.

• Create and submit estimate reports and/or bids to appropriate persons (project managers, company leadership, etc.)
• Build relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, etc.)
• Present bids to Company Leadership at gate reviews
