H. T. PROF Group in Southern California is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our heavy civil team.

This role will lead estimating for private and public works bids, including large-scale design-build and alternative delivery projects. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in heavy civil estimating, strong leadership, and proficiency with Bid2Win, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6. You will mentor junior staff and coordinate cross-functional bid efforts to win projects up to $300M.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of heavy civil estimating experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven track record of leading and winning bids up to $300M.
• Experience with design-build and alternative delivery projects.
• Proficiency with Bid2Win, Bluebeam, Agtek, SketchUp, and Primavera P6 or SureTrak or MS Project.

Responsabilités

• Lead the full estimating process for projects up to $300M.
• Review plans, specs, soils, and site conditions to define scope.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and ensure DBE compliance.
• Coordinate estimating teams for bid prep and cost analysis.
• Oversee subcontractor bid reviews and final pricing.
• Support alternative delivery pursuits (design-build, CM/GC).
• Mentor junior estimators and drive consistency across the department.
• Develop risk matrices and report findings to senior leadership.
