Job summary

MPI in Nashville is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead cost estimation for commercial construction projects. The role focuses on building accurate estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors, ensuring bids reflect project requirements and price inputs.

The successful candidate will review drawings, specs, and bid documents, coordinate with the construction team, and update estimates as project details evolve. ESOP benefits are offered along with a strong preconstruction team.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing detailed construction cost estimates.
• Experience with commercial projects exceeding $20M+ in value.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, and project bid documents.
• Ability to assess labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Experience gathering and comparing supplier and subcontractor pricing.
• Ability to identify scope gaps, assumptions, and cost risks within estimates.
• Experience preparing clear bid proposals and estimate documentation.
