Job summary

Pioneer Cladding and Glazing Systems is seeking an Estimator I to support Sales and the Estimating Department in developing labor and material estimates for custom unitized curtain wall projects.

You will review project docs, perform accurate takeoffs, gather vendor pricing, and apply estimating standards under guidance from senior staff, ensuring clear communication with internal teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of estimating experience.
• Familiarity with basic engineering and architectural principles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications and drawings to understand requirements.
• Perform takeoffs and determine labor and material quantities.
• Solicit vendor quotes and compare bids with project scope.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify cost-effective solutions.
• Support Estimating Manager and Sr. Estimators in bid preparation and handoff.
