Job summary

Tarlton is seeking a Senior Estimator for its St. Louis, Missouri base. You’ll lead on complex bids, set pricing strategy, shape qualifications, and guide the team through bid day.

This role partners with estimating management, self-perform operations, and field leadership to deliver accurate, competitive estimates. Join a growing team delivering concrete structures, data centers, industrial facilities, and heavy civil projects.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate plans, requirements, and site conditions; drive clarification through RFIs.
• Develop subcontractor packages and scope sheets; level bids for completeness.
• Build general conditions and preliminary schedule with operations and field leadership.
• Prepare final estimates; guide pursuit teams through bid day and present costs to senior leadership.
• Mentor estimators, onboard junior staff, and manage workload across bids.
