Job summary

South Shore Construction, an established specialty contractor, seeks an experienced Estimator or Project Manager/Estimator to lead estimating and preconstruction efforts across NJ, NY and PA. The role involves reviewing drawings, taking off quantities, and coordinating with leadership on bids and proposals.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in estimating or project management within restoration or specialty construction, with proficiency in estimating software and a detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction estimating and/or project management experience.
• Experience in concrete restoration, waterproofing, parking garages, façade or masonry restoration, or similar specialty construction.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods and costs.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift or similar estimating software.
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to independently manage multiple bids.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications and project requirements.

• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits.
• Evaluate labor, materials, equipment, access, staging and phasing.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and vendor quotations.

South Shore Construction is an established specialty contractor performing concrete restoration, parking garage rehabilitation, waterproofing, façade and masonry restoration, and structural repairs throughout NJ, NY and PA.

We are looking for an experienced Estimator or Project Manager/Estimator to take a leading role in estimating and preconstruction. This is an opportunity to join a growing company, work directly with company leadership, and have a meaningful impact on the projects we pursue and win.

What You'll Do

• Review drawings, specifications and project requirements

Compensation & Benefits

• $120,000–$175,000+ Salary, based on experience
