Red Seal Recruiting Ltd. is seeking an experienced commercial construction estimator to manage projects from bid through contract execution. The role emphasizes interior tenant fit-outs, with a preference for retail tenant fit-outs, and some ground-up work.

Hybrid work arrangement and residency within 50 miles of the office are required. The ideal candidate will have 10–15 years in commercial construction and 8–10 years in estimating, with strong Procore, scheduling, and negotiation skills.

Qualifikationen

• 10–15 years of experience in commercial construction.
• 8–10 years in commercial construction estimating.
• Experience with interior tenant fit-outs required; retail tenant fit-out preferred.
• Some ground-up construction experience.

Aufgaben

• Prepare comprehensive estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Review drawings and bid documents to identify requirements.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive construction schedules.
• Develop and issue RFIs relating to drawings and bid documents.
• Negotiate final contracts with subcontractors regarding scope, pricing, and terms.
• Interact professionally with clients and subcontractors throughout estimating and construction process.
• Communicate with team members and clients to keep projects moving forward.
• Utilize Procore to support estimating and project activities.
• Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project.
• Travel as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
