Job summary

Core & Main, based in St. Louis, is seeking an estimator to join our bidding team in California. You will work with engineers, design plans, and specifications to prepare timely bids for water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects.

2–4 years of bid preparation experience and familiarity with estimation software such as Planswift are preferred. You will partner with customers to provide precise cost insights and help drive successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of bid preparation or related experience.
• Familiarity with estimation software, like Planswift.
• An understanding of waterworks products and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Be the essential first step in the sales and bidding process.
• Collaborate with engineers, design plans, and customers to provide timely estimating insights.
• Support critical infrastructure bids from initiation through submission.
