Job summary

Core & Main is seeking an estimator to join our bidding team in the United States. You will be the first step in estimating and bidding, interpreting project specifications and plans, and collaborating with engineers, contractors and vendors to provide timely bid insights.

You will use estimation software such as PlanSwift and apply knowledge of waterworks systems to prepare accurate bids for municipal, commercial, and residential projects.

Qualifications

• Bid preparation or related experience
• Familiarity with estimation software, like PlanSwift
• An understanding of waterworks systems

Responsibilities

• Understand project specifications and design plans to support bids
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors and vendors to provide timely insight and consultation
• Serve as the initial estimator, setting the pace for the rest of the bidding process

Pay: $19.23 - $27.48 per hour.
