Job summary

Blueprint Hires is seeking an experienced estimator for multifamily construction projects in the San Francisco area. The role focuses on developing accurate estimates and scopes from drawings and specifications, with emphasis on building envelope knowledge.

You will participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, RFIs/RFQs, and schedule coordination while mentoring junior team members and contributing to process improvements across client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical institute degree in construction or related field.
• 5–10 years of multifamily construction estimating experience with strong building envelope knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Preparing conceptual through detailed estimates and performing quantity take-offs.
• Attending pre-bid meetings, site visits, and coordinating RFIs, RFQs, and schedules.
• Reviewing drawings and specifications to develop accurate scopes and pricing.
• Supporting operations with project management insight and mentoring team members.
• Participating in trade shows, client meetings, and continuous process improvement.
