Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. (Elliot) seeks a Senior Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical and telecommunications construction projects.

You will work closely with project managers, vendors, subcontractors, and clients to secure successful projects and support operational excellence. You will lead estimating efforts for large, complex projects, develop comprehensive cost estimates, review drawings and contracts, and mentor estimators while building strong

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction estimating experience.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical construction systems and industry standards.
• Experience estimating large commercial, industrial, utility, or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in Accubid and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating efforts for large, complex, and high-profile projects.
• Develop comprehensive labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project requirements.
• Evaluate project risks and develop pricing strategies.
• Prepare and present bid reviews to management.
• Lead, coach, and support estimators and estimating co-ops.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and industry partners.
• Participate in project handoff and pre-construction planning activities.
• Assist with estimating process improvements, standards, and database development.
• Track market trends and analyze historical cost data to improve estimate accuracy.

Job Description

Davis H. Elliot is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of electrical and telecommunications construction projects. Working closely with project managers, vendors, subcontractors, and clients, you will play a critical role in securing successful projects and supporting operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead estimating efforts for large, complex, and high-profile projects
• Develop comprehensive labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project requirements
• Evaluate project risks and develop pricing strategies
• Prepare and present bid reviews to management
• Lead, coach, and support estimators and estimating co-ops
